Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following. The Lead Cook acts as a leader in the kitchen in the absence of the Kitchen Manager/Chef, assists in some management duties, and prepares and serves food for customers.

  1. Plans and prepares food in appropriate quantities based on the number of customers to be served using the Lucky Strike Entertainment operations manual and prep sheets.
  2. Ensures all food orders are prepared, presented, and delivered in accordance with the Lucky Strike Entertainment operations manual.
  3. Acts as a mentor to all kitchen staff. Trains these employees on procedures, presentation, sanitation, safe use of all equipment, and cost controls.
  4. Maintains sanitation and organization of the cooking area, storage areas, refrigeration, and serving areas according to local and company guidelines.
  5. Weekly checks the calibration of all cooking and refrigeration equipment to ensure product quality and freshness.
  6. Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, cooking equipment, and utensils in accordance with health department laws using approved sanitation products.
  7. Receives food and supply orders, ensuring products are in good condition, checking delivery temperatures, product codes, and invoice accuracy. Immediately refrigerates perishable items, rotates stock, marks cases with delivery dates, and tags USE FIRST items.
  8. Prepares menu items on the food line, training and supervising kitchen staff by following company procedures, ensuring quality delivery to customers.
  9. Maintains a clean, safe environment at all times.
  10. Assists colleagues with miscellaneous duties to prevent delays in customer service.
  11. Responds promptly to customer questions or requests, taking ownership and guiding to resolution.
  12. Becomes certified in the company's alcohol service program within 14 days and the food safety program within 30 days of employment.
  13. Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, and extended workdays as needed.
WHAT IT TAKES
  • Highly developed customer service and interpersonal skills, including integrity, respect, and effective communication.
  • Strong team player, people developer, knowledgeable of workplace safety procedures.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of operational experience. Culinary or Food Management degree is a plus; relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
