Job summary

Klinic Community Health, based in Winnipeg, seeks a Manager, Counselling Services to lead administrative and community support functions within Health Services. You will supervise staff, ensure records systems and reporting are effective, and support day-to-day client service delivery.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and contribute to equity, inclusion, and culturally safe practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Health Care Administration or related training.
• 5 years’ experience in healthcare administration in a clinical setting.
• Coursework or training in privacy and related legislation is an asset.
• Knowledge of social determinants of health and community development principles.
• Knowledge of Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action and MMIWG2S+ Calls to Justice.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise administrative and support staff, Indigenous Cultural Support Workers, Community Safety Hosts and Welcome Volunteers.
• Oversee records management systems, provide system support and reporting.
• Ensure processes and procedures are implemented, maintained and improved.
• Support implementation of processes and policies for day-to-day service delivery.
• Collaborate with Managers to support interdisciplinary care and cross-program coordination.
