ParaMed in Canada seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee community-based nursing teams, ensuring safe, ethical care and adherence to standards. You will assess, implement, and evaluate clinical interventions while guiding staff and engaging patients in care decisions.

The role requires RN registration with CNO, 5+ years of experience, and strong leadership. A driver’s license and VSS clearance are expected, with CCHN(C) asset. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Competenze

• Active RN licence with the College of Nurses of Ontario and entitlement to practice without restrictions.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practicing Registered Nurse.
• Comprehensive patient health assessment skills are required.
• Understanding of community nursing practice principles.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines.

Mansioni

• Supervise and support Nurses to ensure practices meet legislated standards and company policies.
• Respond to and resolve concerns from community staff, patients/families, and other team members.
• Provide ongoing leadership through regular huddles, face-to-face meetings, and one-on-ones.
• Initiate patient safety incident investigations and document actions with timelines.
• Collaborate with nursing to support documentation and funder reporting requirements.
• Engage patients in problem solving with health teaching and rapport building.
• Mentor staff through education and coaching to resolve problems.
• Maintain knowledge and skills to provide safe, efficient, effective home nursing care.
