Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee Health Care Aides in community settings, ensuring safe, ethical, and high-quality care. You will lead, mentor, and support staff while maintaining compliance with standards and regulations.

Applicants should be an LPN with CLHA in good standing and have 3–5 years of nursing experience, including community nursing. A valid driver’s license and VSS are required; base salary and total rewards are described during the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with CLHA in good standing.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).
• Strong patient health assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support HCAs to ensure practices comply with legislated standards and company policies.
• Respond to and advise/resolve concerns from community staff, patients, families, and other team members.
• Provide ongoing leadership through regular huddles, face-to-face meetings and one-on-ones.
• Initiate patient safety incident investigations and ensure action plans are met.
• Collaborate with nursing team to support clinical documentation and funder reporting guidelines.
• Engage patients in problem solving, health teaching, and building rapport to identify needs and goals.
• Mentor staff and provide coaching to resolve problems.
• Maintain current knowledge to provide safe and effective home health care.
