Job summary

Mackenzie Inc. invites applications for an experienced Civil Project Engineer based in our Vancouver office. Candidates should have 15+ years in civil engineering design, with interest in site/public infrastructure, sustainability, and development services.

Role involves leading projects from planning to approvals and construction, with strong emphasis on AutoCAD Civil 3D and team mentoring. Licensure in WA/OR/CA preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of civil engineering design experience at up to Principal level.
• Experience leading a team on large-scale site/public infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.
• Licensure or ability to be licensed in WA, OR and/or CA required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop projects from planning to design, agency approvals, and construction.
• Perform code analysis and research on technical aspects of a project.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate with the project team.
• Interact with clients and agency staff to obtain design and permit approvals.
• Oversee and mentor civil staff on professional/technical efforts.
