Job summary

Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. in Niverville, MB, seeks a Carpenter Foreman to deliver civil work with a focus on concrete formwork and top-quality execution.

Reporting to the site supervisor, you will lead crews, interpret drawings, and coordinate with PMs to ensure safety and project standards on industrial sites.

Candidates should have 5+ years of carpentry, strong engineered formwork knowledge, and willingness to work in remote locations when required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years carpentry experience with significant concrete/formwork foreman or lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of Engineered formwork.
• Experience on water/sewage treatment plant projects.
• Ability to read complex structural, architectural, and civil drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous professional client relationships and meet quality standards.
• Assist with equipment preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Lead safety practices and mentor employees in safe work.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Project Managers on progress and risks.
• Correct hazardous or unproductive situations and report to supervision.
• Ensure projects meet schedule and quality targets.
• Enforce safety policies and concrete-specific procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
