Business Group: Corporate Functions Technology – supporting marketing, HR, finance, and risk. The Risk Technology organization within this group primarily supports operational risk stakeholders.

Project: The work will focus on the financial risk domain, including data analytics, reporting, regulatory reporting, and advanced analytics. This role requires technical expertise, and exposure to the financial domain would be a plus.

Typical Day in Role

• Interacting with end users to understand their data and reporting needs.
• Working with a technology stack centered on Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborating with internal IT stakeholders, including architects, the data office, and the AML team.
• Ensuring collaboration with other project stakeholders and fulfilling their requests and best practices.
• Providing all necessary information to architects to complete projects.
• Acting as a senior resource, assisting offshore junior resources with their questions and being involved in the execution of solutions (Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, Power Apps).

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have Skills

• Experience Level: 10+ years in development technologies
• Experience in Building OLAP and OLTP-based Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Systems

• Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Business Requirement Documentation (BRD), Power BI, Synapse, Power Automate

Nice-to-Have Skills

Familiarity with the financial risk domain.

Experience with Power BI, particularly in preparing data models for reporting.

Education

Bachelor's Degree: In a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. A mathematical background is also acceptable.

Master’s Degree: Preferred.

Best vs. Average Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess strong soft skills and a can-do attitude. Meeting 80% of the technical skills and 20% of the domain knowledge would be ideal. Experience in solution delivery related to the financial risk domain is a strong plus.
