Job summary

Delpath in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst for a 2-month contract with hybrid work. The role requires 10+ years of BA experience on complex financial services, risk management, or regulatory projects, and proficiency across Waterfall and Agile delivery.

You will work with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio and Jira/Confluence, and contribute to process improvement and workflow analysis. The assignment may extend into a year and could convert.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience on complex projects in financial services, risk, or regulatory domains.
• Experience delivering across Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio and Jira/Confluence.
• Strong process improvement skills with workflow analysis and design.

LOCATION NOTE Hybrid: 3 days/week (Tuesday, Thursday – other is flexible)

CONTRACT DURATION 2 months as this phase of the project finishes then but will likely extend into the next phase for a total of 1 year, and potentially further

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• 1. 10+ years of Business Analysis experience working on complex projects, preferably in financial services, risk management, or regulatory.
• 2. Experience operating under multiple project delivery frameworks (Waterfall, Agile)
• 3. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Visio and experience with JIRA/Confluence.
• 4. Process improvement experience with an understanding of workflow analysis and design.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• 1. Experience with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)
• 2. Experience as a Lead BA to help mentor/support other BAs on team (FYI they will not be managing them in this role)
