Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Lead, Bakery-Maintenance at our Ancaster, ON bakery. You will lead a maintenance team, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safe, reliable operation of bakery equipment and plant systems.

The role requires 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing setting, with strong troubleshooting and leadership. Rotating continental shifts and generous shift premiums apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed trade (Millwright or Electrician) with dual ticket preferred.
• 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience in food manufacturing encouraged.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and reading blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop maintenance team to support operations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to meet production needs.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Ensure health, safety, GMP, food safety, and quality standards are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve plant performance.
• Drive continuous improvement via root cause analysis and planning.
