Aspire Bakeries in Ancaster, Ontario, seeks a Weekend Millwright to join our team. You will be responsible for routine preventative maintenance, line startup support, and repairing equipment to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has an Industrial Millwright Certification (433A) and strong mechanical skills; weekend availability is required. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a leading North American bakery network.

Formación

• Industrial Millwright Certification (433A) required.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and facility systems preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, control, and production equipment.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance per the PM program.
• Install, modify, and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and facility systems.
• Maintain non-production equipment and infrastructure (cold stores, forklifts, lighting, buildings).
• Lead during emergencies; handle hazardous materials safely.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, health & safety and PPE rules.
• Maintain housekeeping and report faults daily.

About The Role

We are seeking a Weekend PM Millwrights to join our team at our Ancaster bakery. As a Weekend Millwright you will be accountable for routine preventative maintenance, line startup support, and equipment repair ensuring our lines are ready and reliable for production.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 36- hour rotating
• Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $47.60

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, electronic, control, scaling, and production equipment systems.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance in line with the preventative maintenance program.
• Carry out installation, modification, and repair work across mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and facility systems.
• Support site operations by maintaining non-production equipment and infrastructure (cold stores, forklifts, lighting, buildings, etc.).
• Lead and respond appropriately during emergency situations; handle hazardous materials safely and compliantly.
• Follow all SOPs, GMPs, health & safety, and food safety requirements, including proper PPE use and hazard reporting.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, take initiative when faults are identified, and complete accurate daily reports.
