Handle probate to certify the validity of a will. Help in preparing and completing applications for simple joint and uncontested divorces, domestic contracts and name changes. Interview clients, witnesses and other related parties. Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing systems. Prepare wills, real estate transactions and other legal documents, court reports and affidavits. Receive affidavits, declarations and affirmations. Witness and certify the validity of signatures on documents. Collect and record administrative and service fees. Draft legal correspondence. Call courts of law to order, read charges and take pleas from defendants. Computer and technology knowledge: Divorcemate Software. MS Office. MS Outlook. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
