Job summary

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP is seeking Laundry Workers for the Fort McMurray, AB facility. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will work a 21 days on, 7 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Meals, snacks and accommodations are provided during shifts; health and dental benefits and RRSP matching are available. Edmonton-to-site transportation is provided on turnaround days.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear English communication skills.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual quality control inspections to maintain Civeo standards.
  • Receive, sort, classify and prepare soiled laundry items for laundering.
  • Operate folding and processing machines following safety procedures.
  • Manually fold items such as pads and quilts.
  • Finalize items for delivery ensuring quality and cleanliness.
  • Maintain labeling and records throughout the plant.
  • Comply with safety work instructions and procedures.
  • Light housekeeping duties and teamwork.

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP is looking for Laundry Workers at our Laundry Facility in Fort McMurray, AB. Reporting to the designated Supervisor, the successful candidate will work a 21 days on and 7 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays.

  • Meals, snacks, and accommodations are provided by the company during your shift.
  • Health and Dental Benefits and RRSP matching are available for the successful candidates.
  • Transportation from Edmonton to site is provided on turnaround days.
Responsibilities
  • Conducts visual quality control inspections to maintain Civeo quality standards
  • Receive, sort, classify and prepare soiled laundry items for laundering within the facility
  • Operate all folding and processing machines within the stringent safety procedures in place
  • Manually fold items as required such as pads and quilts
  • Finalizes all items for delivery ensuring quality and cleanliness
  • Maintain record keeping, organization and labeling procedures throughout the plant
  • Comply with all of Civeo Safety work instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Light housekeeping duties within the facility
  • Work as a valued team member
  • Any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Multi-tasking, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well with peers in a group environment
  • Must be willing to work shift work
  • Excellent comprehension and command of the English Language
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts in a remote environment
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Overtime as required
