Job summary

Basecamp Resorts in Canmore is seeking a full-time Laundry Route Driver to deliver and collect linens for our Canmore and Banff properties. You will work with the laundry team to ensure timely stocking and inventory of towels and sheets.

The role requires a Canadian driver’s license, 3 years of driving experience, weekend availability, and the ability to lift 40 lb and navigate stairs. We offer gratuities, health benefits, staff discounts, and growth opportunities within our growing hospitality

Qualifications

• Must have a Canadian Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
• Must have 3 years of driving experience in Canada.
• Must be available on weekends.
• Must have mobility to climb stairs and be able to lift 40 lb.
• Experience in laundry duties and asset.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Able to work well independently and with a team with little supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with driving the clean linens to the various hotels and pick up the linens needing washing.
• Supply Houseperson/Housekeeper with linens from main laundry for delivery to housekeeping storage rooms.
• Responsible for all linen and towel inventories.
• Work closely with Housekeeping Supervisors and Housekeeping Manager to ensure inventory for each property is properly stocked.
• Maintaining cleanliness of laundry.
• Maintain clean floors in the laundry room.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle.
• Package linens in transport bins in such a way as to expedite the stocking of items upon delivery.
• Ensure proper operations of equipment.
• Report any mechanical issues to the Manager.

Position Overview

We require a full-time, permanent Laundry Route Driver that will be assisting with linen and towel deliveries to all Basecamp properties in Canmore and Banff.

Salary : $19.50 per hour

Shifts : Full-Time, Permanent, week days and weekends
