Job summary

Canmore Regional Laundry & Dry Cleaning is seeking a Laundry Attendant who also handles delivery duties. You will process laundry, operate equipment, and ensure timely linen delivery to hotels, while maintaining a high standard of professional service.

The role requires a valid Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A strong team player with good organizational skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required; a driver’s abstract will be checked at hire.
• Air brakes preferred, but training will be provided.
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaged service.
• Carry out various functions within the laundry facility.
• Operate various laundry commercial equipment.
• Attention to quality of items being processed in the machinery.
• Follow routes and time schedule for deliveries.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
• Complete logs and reports.

Job Description

As a Laundry Attendant, you will process laundry by either washing, or pressing according to department standards and procedures. Use laundry equipment as per instruction and maintain them in a proper state of cleanliness. As a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute linen promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our customer satisfaction.

• Your time will be spent 4 days in production and 1 day driving.

Qualifications

• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team


• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment


• Must be fluent in English


• Excellent organizational skills and time management


• Valid class 5 drivers license required and a drivers abstract upon hiring will be conducted
