KBL Environmental Ltd. in Selkirk, MB is seeking a Labourer to support operators and supervisors, helping keep sites safe and productive.

You’ll perform site cleaning, move materials, and assist with routine maintenance; rail work may be required on some projects including unhooking rail cars and flipping switches. The role involves operating heavy equipment as needed, handling torches for cutting scrap metal with safety protocols, and contributing to demolition, remediation, and rail projects

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting 55 lbs, confined spaces, heights, extended standing).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting and teamwork skills
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, able to give and receive verbal information and direction in a fast-paced environment

We are currently looking for a Labourer. The Labourer is responsible for supporting operators and supervisors to work safely and efficiently by cleaning the site, cutting scrap metal, moving materials, performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment and may require rail work (unhooking rail cars and flipping switches) . Labourers may be responsible for the safe operation of equipment, including rock trucks and packers. Projects may include demolition, remediation, reclamation and rail projects

What You\'ll Do

What You Need

• Ability and willingness to travel to work locations across Western Canada.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, depending on location.
• Must be willing to work, day & night shifts, up to 12 hours.
