eQ Homes in Arnprior, ON is seeking a temporary Labourer to support the site supervisor and foremen. You will help keep the job site clean, manage material storage, and assist with units under construction.

This five-month role requires reliable hard work, a clean driving record may be a plus, and adherence to MOL health and safety policies. Training on temporary heat and safety procedures will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Cleans interior of units under construction, including garages and porches, from excavation through occupancy.
• Cleans and tidies all areas around the site; dispose of unsightly debris.
• Maintains cleaning supplies in the site office.
• Transports and operates temporary heaters as trained.
• Ensures homes are locked at the end of each work day.
• Covers hardwood floors and maintains maintenance logs for site equipment.

About the Role

eQ Homes is looking for a temporary Labourer at our Marshall's Bay site, located at 125 Seabert Drive, Arnprior, ON K7S 0H9. As a labourer, the primary goal is to support the site supervisor and foremen in maintaining a clean job site, ensuring cleanliness both inside and outside units, and maintaining professional storage of materials at all times, while also being responsible for key accountabilities such as material storage, reporting safety issues, assisting with units under construction, managing temporary heat, and maintaining logs for vehicle and equipment maintenance. This is a temporary full-time position, with an anticipated duration of approximately five months.

Key Responsibilities

• - Cleans interior of units under construction- including garages and porches - from excavation through until occupancy of the home.
• - Cleans and tidies all areas around the site. Any debris/materials that are unsightly are to be put in designated waste bins.
• - Maintains cleaning supplies in the site office.
• - Maintains and transports temporary heaters as per winter heat training provided through eQ.
• - Ensures homes are locked at the end of each work day.
• - Covers hardwood floors.
• - Maintains maintenance logs for site vehicle and other equipment as required.
• - Ensures all eQ staff and Trade Partners abide by the Ministry of Labour regulations and eQ Health and Safety Policy.
• - Performs other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
