Job summary

eQ Homes in Clarence-Rockland, ON is seeking a Labourer to support the site supervisor and foremen, maintain a clean job site, and manage material storage and safety reporting. You will assist with units under construction, manage temporary heat, and keep logs for vehicles and equipment, while upholding eQ Safety policies.

The role requires daily physical labour, a clean driving record, and a proactive, detail-oriented work ethic.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to perform daily physical labour.
• Clean driving record (drivers abstract will be required).
• Maintains to do lists and reports to supervisor on a daily basis.
• Hard working while maintaining attention to detail at all times.
• Understanding of MOL requirements and reporting structure as relates to Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Cleans interior of units under construction, including garages and porches, from excavation through occupancy.
• Cleans and tidies all areas around the site. Any debris/materials that are unsightly are to be put in designated waste bins.
• Maintains cleaning supplies in the site office.
• Maintains and transports temporary heaters as per winter heat training provided.
• Ensures homes are locked at the end of each work day.
• Covers hardwood floors.
• Maintains maintenance logs for site vehicle and other equipment as required.
• Ensures all eQ staff and Trade Partners abided by the MOL regulations and eQ Health and Safety Policy.
• Performs other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
