Job summary

The Mosaic Company in Esterhazy, SK is hiring a Labourer to safely perform duties in the assigned area on rotating 12-hour shifts. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to OH&S rules, and practical skill development within our potash operations.

You will train on equipment, perform inspections, keep areas clean, and support senior staff while maintaining a compliant, productive work environment. Authorization to work in Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job.
• Able to lift approximately 0-25 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to climb stairs and work at various heights.
• Able to distinguish varying or specific colors, patterns, or materials.
• Able to read, write and understand basic English.
• Able to wear a respirator.
• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Labourer

To safely and efficiently perform the duties of a Labourer in an assigned area on an assigned shift. An employee will have the opportunity to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities through training, practice, experience, examinations, and task observation to progress within the Company.

What you'll do?

• Demonstrate aptitude for safety and work safely in all situations.
• Demonstrate he/she is physically fit and capable of lifting.
• Complete training on hand and power activated tools.
• Complete exam and task sheets on equipment as required.
• Keep work area safe and clean.
• Train other labourers as required.
• Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions, and to make written reports as required.
• Diligently adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements.
• Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied with.
