Dawson Dental Barrie is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our modern practice in Barrie, delivering patient-centered care with a focus on comfort and safety.

You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists, take X-rays, manage charts, and support scheduling while adhering to IPAC standards. We offer growth through education, competitive pay, RRSP matching, gym discounts, insurance savings, and a supportive team culture.

Competenze

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule: Full-Time

• Monday - Friday.
• Ocasional Saturdays.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $25-$30/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Please note that this is a replacement job opening.
