Job summary

Shawne Excavating & Trucking Ltd. seeks a construction laborer to support on-site activities, including loading/unloading equipment and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license, be able to perform physically demanding tasks, and work standard construction hours. Wages are based on experience; successful applicants will be notified for an interview.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and clean driver’s license and be able to operate safely in a construction setting.
• Ability to work well with others and follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and work construction hours.
• Tickets would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading of equipment on job sites.
• Identify daily hazards and participate in hazard assessments.
• Work collaboratively with crew to maintain a safe and efficient work area.
• Perform assigned duties in a safe and effective manner.
