Job summary

Park Paving Ltd. in Edmonton is seeking EXPERIENCED LABOURERS for the 2026 construction season. This is a seasonal position offering a competitive wage with benefits.

Primary duties include digging, shoveling, raking, placing and compacting base materials, operating light compaction gear and a concrete chop saw, and removing debris. A valid driver's license and the ability to work long hours are required.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to perform manual labour in a construction setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Dig, shovel, rake, hammer pins, sweep and operate small compaction gear and a concrete chop saw.
• Place and compact granular base materials to meet project specs.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
• Raise and lower catch basins, manholes and water valves as needed.
• Work long hours in a physically demanding environment.

Job description

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for EXPERIENCED LABOURERS to join our BASE DIVISION for the 2026 construction season.

This is a seasonal positions that offers a competitive wage with benefits.

Primary Duties

• Performs general labourer work: digging, shoveling, raking, hammering pins, sweeping, operating small compaction gear (jumping jacks, tampers, etc.), using a concrete chop saw, and other labour activities associated with constructing the required project.
• Placement of construction materials (by hand or use of equipment) Setup, check, and compact granular base materials to meet construction specifications required for the project.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Raise and lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves, as required.
• Able to work long hours.

Additional Requirements
