Job summary

Hall Shoring & Foundations is seeking a dedicated Labourer to support on-site foundation drilling and shoring activities in Edmonton. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on contribution to daily site operations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliable English communication, strong organization, and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality on site. This position offers growth opportunities within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Pre-access alcohol and drug testing required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Piling / Foundation drilling experience is a benefit; CFA experience preferred.
• Must know how to operate a pressure washer.
• Knowledge of safe work procedures.
• Identify hazards on site and communicate effectively.
• Know hand signals for spotting concrete trucks and cranes.

Responsibilities

• Shovel drilling spoils and concrete.
• Chip concrete.
• Pressure wash and clean top of finished piles.
• Use bandsaw to trim center bar.
• Complete basic math calculations and use a measuring tape.
• Work around foundation drilling equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and equipment spotting.
• Work 10-12 hrs per shift when required.

Labourers are essential in driving production on site and in the trench. They are expected to have demonstrated competency to a supervisor, or designated mentor, in all Core Responsibilities of a Labourer. It is an expectation they adhere to the policies outlined in Hall’s HSE and are an active participant in site organization and safety.

Core Responsibilities

• Shoveling drilling spoils and concrete.
• Chipping concrete.
• Pressure washing and cleaning top of finished piles.
• Utilize bandsaw to trim center bar
• Complete basic math calculations and use a measuring tape
• Working around foundation drilling equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping, spotting equipment.
• Working 10-12hrs per shift, when required.

You have the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills:

Qualifications

• Pass a pre access alcohol and drug testing
• 2 years of experience is preferred.
