• Must have at least two years of construction experience in general labour, skilled labour, equipment operating, foundations, or ground improvement.
• Must have a valid BC driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Certifications such as CSTS-2020, First Aid, Fall Protection, and related licenses are assets.

Responsibilities

• Support drilling and piling operations on active construction sites.
• Load, unload, organize, and move drilling tools, casings, and equipment.
• Maintain safe and clean work areas around piling and drilling rigs.
• Assist with rigging, lifting operations, and site setup.
• Help establish and maintain safe work zones and traffic control areas.
• Work closely with operators and crew members during daily operations.
• Perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Follow company safety procedures and site-specific requirements at all times.

BAUER Foundations Canada is looking for a Construction Labourer for ongoing projects in and around Calgary, AB and Moose Jaw, AB.

PAY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $30 - $38 per hour. Wages depend on experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Construction Labourer is a key entry-level role on our construction site ground crew.

• Support drilling and piling operations on active construction sites
• Load, unload, organize, and move drilling tools, casings, and equipment
• Maintain safe and clean work areas around piling and drilling rigs
• Assist with rigging, lifting operations, and site setup
• Help establish and maintain safe work zones and traffic control areas
• Work closely with operators and crew members during daily operations
• Perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
• Follow company safety procedures and site-specific requirements at all times

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and active construction operations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a small crew environment
• At least two years of previous construction experience (general labour, skilled labour, equipment operating, foundations, ground improvement, etc.)
• Must have a valid BC drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-2020), First Aid, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, and related certifications would be an asset.
• Loader/Skid steer experience and related certifications would be an asset.
