Job summary

Wright Tree Service of Canada is seeking a Labourer for full-time work reports to the Arborist/Crew Lead. The role involves rigorous outdoor labor, assisting arborists, and maintaining a safe, organized site across varying weather conditions.

Expect to load materials, operate basic equipment with PPE provided, and participate in on-call rotations as needed. A valid driver’s license, pre-employment screening, and a commitment to safe teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract (fewer than 6 demerits).
• Pre-employment drug screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the worksite clean and organized by removing fallen tree debris such as branches, leaves and trunks.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush and debris, or feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Set up tools and equipment for arborists to use.
• Help arborists assess the health and structural integrity of trees through measurements or data collection.
