Title: Laborer

Major Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and transporting them to work areas on site.
- Perform specialized tasks as needed, which may require on-the-job training.
- Carry out various physical duties as assigned.
- Help with the setup and takedown of tank farms.
- Perform other duties as required.
Specific Accountabilities
- Travel as necessary to service equipment and meet customer needs.
- Coordinate with Strad employees, including Dispatch, Billing Administrators, other Field Service Technicians, Supervisors, and Management, to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete field paperwork as directed by the Field Supervisor.
- Update computer databases as required by the Field Supervisor.
- Follow Company Policies, Procedures, and Safety Standards, including the Safety Manual.
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Qualifications
- Previous oilfield experience is preferred.
- Experience with setup, repair, and maintenance of oilfield equipment is an asset.
- Strong desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to relate well with customers and coworkers.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
- Completion of safety courses and holding relevant tickets (WHMIS, First Aid, H2S) are required.
- Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements
- Must be free of drugs and alcohol.
- Ability to perform strenuous activities such as walking, bending, crouching, and standing for long periods; capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Maintain mental alertness at all times.
- Ability to drive safely for extended periods under varying weather conditions.
- Work outdoors in wet and extremely cold weather conditions.
