Job summary

Alberta Precision Laboratories is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist I for the Hematology and Transfusion Medicine unit at Red Deer Regional Hospital. You will handle daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples, contributing to accurate patient diagnoses.

You will work closely with Pathologists and medical staff, performing routine and specialized procedures while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
• Works well in a team environment. Able to multi-task and prioritize work as needed. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Preferred qualifications include Beaker and Wellsky LIS; Hematology/Transfusion Medicine experience.

Required Qualifications:
