Job summary

Alberta Precision Labs in High Prairie is seeking a casual Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I to join our Laboratory team. You will perform daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples in a collaborative environment.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited MLT program and registration or eligibility with CMLTA. Preferred candidates have experience with Vitros XT, Access II, Sysmex, Triage, iSTAT and EPIC, plus phlebotomy skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program.
• Active or eligible for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
• Experience with Vitros XT, Access II, Sysmex, Triage, iSTAT and EPIC is preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process, test, analyze, and report diagnostic samples in the laboratory.
• Perform routine and specialized procedures as part of specimen processing.
