Alberta Precision Labs is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant I in Red Deer for the Downtown Patient Service Centre. You will perform venipuncture, ECGs, and assist with specimen processing and reporting results in a fast-paced, public-facing setting.
The role requires completing an accredited MLA program; preferred phlebotomy and ECG certification. This is a part-time, temporary position with shifts across days/evenings/weekends in Red Deer.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification.
