Job summary

This position at Finning Canada’s Fluid Analysis Lab in West Edmonton involves carrying out standardized tests on used petroleum products, data entry, and other lab duties on a fixed-term basis ending May 14, 2027. Wage is CAD 37.66–41.84 per hour, with shifts Monday to Friday on a 5x2 schedule.

Requirements include completion of post-secondary education in science/technical/petroleum and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in science, technical, or petroleum field.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Experience with data entry and laboratory procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day tasks such as data entry, sample setup, analysis and disposal.

Important Information

This position is based out of our Fluid Analysis Lab in West Edmonton on a 5x2 shift. Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day. Hours and shift schedules that may be subject to change to meet Finning or customer requirements, will be made in accordance with the Collective Agreement. This is a temporary position with an end date of May 14, 2027.

Union Membership

You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
