Job summary

Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) in Fort McMurray seeks a Transportation Service Representative to deliver and pick up mail, specimens, lab supplies, and blood products to Rapid Response Labs and client offices in a timely manner. You work independently, follow protocols, and ensure cargo integrity while meeting delivery schedules.

The role is casual/relief with variable shifts; requires a Grade 12 education and a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s licence, and offers a Fort McMurray Allowance

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up a range of products including mail, specimens, lab supplies, mail, and blood products to and from Rapid Response Labs, Patient Care Centres, and client offices in a timely manner.
• Work independently using appropriate storage methods to maintain integrity of cargo.
• Adhere to safe driving regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures; document deliveries and communicate with laboratory personnel as required.
