PerkinElmer is seeking a Lab IT Deskside Support Team Leader to oversee desktop and instrument IT support in a laboratory environment. You will manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of lab computing, and lead a team to ensure timely issue resolution and adherence to SLAs.

The role emphasizes vendor coordination, security policy enforcement, and governance reporting while mentoring staff and coordinating with product managers.

Formación

• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Document procedures, policies, troubleshooting and best practices.
• Escalate IT issues not resolved via standard channels.
• Manage ServiceNow requests and incidents to SLA.
• Interface between client, business and IT teams.
• Conduct daily ticket scrums and governance reporting.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and hire new staff.
• Support lab IT environments integrated with instrumentation.
• Administer Windows-based platforms and security settings.
• Maintain inventories of client systems and hardware.
• Ensure on-going compliance with time and attendance standards.
• Provide technical support for system validations and change control.
