Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Field Service Representative to support customers with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of Agilent and multi-vendor systems. You will install and optimize hardware, software and networking configurations at customer sites, diagnose performance issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires a science degree and 4+ years in a lab environment with spectroscopy, GC, LC, and GCP.

Qualifications

Requires post-secondary degree in science (e.g., chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology).
4+ years’ experience in a laboratory environment using spectroscopy, GC, LC, and GCP.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; good verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

Install, implement, and maintain hardware/software/network products at customer sites.
Diagnose and resolve product performance issues and optimize configurations.
Train field engineers and customers on solutions and preventive maintenance.
Proactively address potential equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Travel to customer sites approximately 25% of the time.
