This role provides the opportunity to be a part of a top strategic area for the company, working closely with teams across the organization. We work in a deadline-driven environment, so the ability to prioritize tasks is critical. We’re a small team, so a high degree of flexibility is required to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and functions. You’ll be responsible for developing and optimizing new and existing content, in the day-to-day critical delivery path. You’re comfortable with what you know and what you don’t know. You deliver great work independently for your team and strive to improve the customer journey by optimizing new and existing content for your team. You seek out opportunities to fill in your knowledge gaps to broaden and/or deepen your skills and experience.

What you’ll do
  • Able to create, edit and update content and general page layout within our CMS at an intermediate level
  • Creating landing pages, banners and editing existing web components
  • Ensure content meets standards, information architecture, and accessibility guidelines
  • Collaborate with UX Writers and Content Strategists on bilingual content needs in the CMS
  • Able to provide insights and recommendations for optimizations, improvements and platform features through analysis of content data sources
  • When required, update the site for product launches/releases (occasionally on evenings or weekends)
  • Learn new technologies to keep up with current trends and make recommendations on when they are
Qualifications
What you bring
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Beginner to intermediate understanding of JavaScript, or ability to repurpose JavaScript functionality
  • Experience using a CMS – configuring components and editing content
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deliverables and work with minimal supervision
  • Have no problem facing tight deadlines on a daily basis
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills required to obtain commitment from cross-functional teams to support and deliver on priorities
Great-to-haves
  • 1-2 years’ work experience as a web developer in a commercial/office environment
  • 1 year experience developing for mobile web
  • Beginner to intermediate understanding of JavaScript, or ability to repurpose JavaScript functionality
