Job summary

Farm Boy Inc. is seeking a Store Supervisor to partner with the Department Manager, lead daily operations, and coach a high-performing team to deliver exceptional food and service.

You will manage staffing, training, and customer experiences to reflect Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience. The role requires a post-secondary Culinary Management program and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary program with emphasis in Culinary Management and minimum 1 year of supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by managing priorities while maintaining performance.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort learning and using computer software programs.
• Willingness to work in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident customer service reflecting Farm Boy's commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
• Collaborate with the Department Manager to execute departmental strategies and achieve goals.
• Support team development through training, coaching, motivation, and recognition.
• Lead regular huddles to share goals, celebrate successes, strengthen product knowledge, and encourage feedback.
• Prepare and cook fresh offerings for hot and cold bars and grill stations.
• Support daily department operations: merchandising, staffing coverage, cleanliness.
• Provide office/admin support including inventory, ordering, scheduling, and payroll.
• Promote clear communication and adherence to policies and government regulations.
• Follow health & safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment use.
• Take on related duties as needed.
