Job summary

Farm Boy in Mississauga is seeking a Department Manager to lead a team in delivering exceptional food and service experiences. You will coach staff, manage daily operations, coordinate scheduling and payroll, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

The role requires a culinary management background, 1+ year of supervisory experience, and strong organizational skills. Evening/weekend availability is expected. Fluency in English with French a plus.

Qualifications

Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in Culinary Management.
Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Comfort with computer software programs and systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach a high-performing team in a fast-paced store environment.
Deliver warm, engaging customer service and execute departmental strategies.
Oversee daily department operations, staffing, merchandising, and cleanliness.
Provide inventory management, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll support.
Promote adherence to policies, health and safety, and HACCP principles.
Participate in regular team huddles and foster two-way feedback.
