The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is hiring a Casual Kitchen Helper at Sir Guy Carleton Secondary School in Ottawa. The role supports the kitchen operations under supervision, including food prep, service, and supervising students.
Monday through Friday, up to 7.5 hours daily in a casual, as-needed basis. The position requires a secondary school diploma with a culinary focus and at least one year of relevant experience, plus knowledge of food safety and ability to operate

Casual Kitchen Helper
Sir Guy Carleton Secondary School
Position Status: Casual (as-needed basis)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, up to 7.5 hours daily between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm
Salary: $22.57 per hour + 4% in lieu of vacation
Under the direction of the Chef/Food Services Manager/Cafeteria Supervisor/Assistant Chef, the Kitchen Helper carries out a variety of duties to maintain the kitchen work areas, equipment, utensils and storage areas; assist with the preparation and serving of food as directed; assist with the supervision of students.
