The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is seeking casual custodians for immediate and future needs across various locations in Eastern Ontario. Roles are casual, on-call with a work year of up to 12 months and flexible hours (2:00 pm to midnight on weekdays, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends).

Under the general direction of the Team Lead, the Casual Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleaning of assigned areas to the prescribed standard of cleanliness according to predetermined procedures.The role would be to support the Chief Custodian with the cleaning, disinfection, and wipe down of the school.The Casual Custodian must be committed to preventing needless waste or careless use of supplies, equipment, or other utilities.

As a condition of employment, all newly hired Casual Custodians will be required to submit a Police Record Check for the vulnerable sector completed within the last 6 months.
