The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) invites applications for a casual Feeding Assistant role to support students during meal times in our schools.
This position is part-time casual work with daytime hours (10:30–11:30 and 1:30–2:30, Monday to Friday) and requires strong communication and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies in a school setting. Applicants must complete required safety and background checks.

Feeding Assistants require the ability to act quickly to emergencies and must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Breakfast monitors must be able to use tact, diplomacy and discretion in interactions within the school community.
First Aid and Behaviour Management Systems (BMS) training would be assets.
As a condition of employment, all new employees will be required to submit a Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector that was completed within the last six (6) months. All newly hired employees will be required to complete Ministry mandated training and Health and Safety training prior to their start date with the OCDSB.
