The Salvation Army Victoria site is seeking a Kitchen Helper under the supervision of the Food Services Manager to assist with food preparation and cleaning tasks in the kitchen and dining area.
Responsibilities include washing dishes, bussing, maintaining a clean dining room, and assisting in emergencies. Prior kitchen/restaurant experience and Food Safe 1 are required; negative TB test and a police check are also needed.

Under the guidance of Food Services Manager, the kitchen helper assists in providing food services and clean up.
The above responsibilities must be discharged in accordance with The Salvation Army’s Mission Statement, in a professional manner, exemplifying Christian standards of conduct.
The salary range is based on the Collective Agreement, not any other factors.
The target hiring range for this position is $22.53 to $23.03 with a maximum of $23.53.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
