Living Water Resorts in Ontario is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to uphold the highest cleanliness and organization standards in our busy kitchens, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

You will maintain hygiene across all kitchen areas, support kitchen staff with prep tasks, manage waste and supply levels, and strictly follow Health & Safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for staff and guests alike.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is a valuable asset.
• Possession of a Food Safe Handling Certificate is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability in organization, time management, and multitasking.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Ensure kitchenware, including glassware, chinaware, cutlery, pots, and pans, are cleaned and sanitized to meet hygiene standards.
• Organize and store cleaned inventory safely in designated areas.
• Proactively manage cleaning supply levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across all kitchen areas, including floor maintenance.
• Manage waste by regularly emptying garbage and recycling bins and keeping external area clean.
• Uphold the operation of dishwashing equipment through regular cleaning and sanitization of workstations.
• Follow Health & Safety and sanitation protocols to promote a safe environment.
• Assist cooks with prep tasks, such as cleaning and cutting vegetables, as needed.
• Support resort operations by understanding facilities and services for seamless guest experiences.

• Organize and store all cleaned kitchen inventory efficiently and safely in designated areas.
• Proactively manage cleaning supply levels, coordinating with kitchen management to ensure timely replenishment.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization across all kitchen areas, including continuous floor maintenance throughout shifts.
• Manage waste by regularly emptying garbage and recycling bins and ensuring the external garbage area remains clean and orderly.
• Uphold the operational integrity of dishwashing equipment through regular cleaning and sanitization of workstations.
• Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety and sanitation protocols, promoting a safe working environment.
• Contribute to kitchen operations by assisting cooks with prep tasks, such as cleaning and cutting vegetables, as business needs dictate.
• Support overall resort operations by understanding facilities and services, aiding in seamless guest experiences when needed.
