Job summary

InterContinental 62s Group plc is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support chefs with preparation and general kitchen duties at our property in Germany. The role requires maintaining hygiene, handling waste, and assisting with receiving and storing goods.

You will work in line with daily schedules, ensure clean utensils and equipment availability, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives while delivering True Hospitality to guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties reflecting hospitality standards.
• Food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local regulations.
• 1 year of kitchen experience, including assistant or related role.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Ensure a constant supply of equipment and clean utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of bins, garbage room, and staff dining area.
• Assist with receiving and storage of goods.
• Maintain hygienic standards and pursue cost-saving measures.
• Work in line with business needs.
