Job summary

Runwood Homes is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support Chefs in daily kitchen operations within our care home. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist with general kitchen tasks and ensure meals are prepared to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and assist with general kitchen tasks.
• Support Chefs with daily operations to ensure smooth kitchen function.
• Assist with catering for events in the care home, such as summer fayres.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines (COSHH/HACPP).

As members of the support services team, our Kitchen Assistants help the Chefs with the daily operations of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and performing general kitchen tasks to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly in the care home. Our Kitchen Assistants adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as follow all necessary COSHH and HACPP guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in catering for special events at the home, such as the annual summer fayres.
