Job summary

The Fleet Care Home in Dartmouth, UK, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support meal delivery in a clean, safe kitchen. The role involves assisting with preparation, keeping areas tidy and helping with deliveries and stock management.

Working with the Chef and team, you will help ensure meals are prepared to a high standard. Alternate weekends are required, with a supportive, well-organised kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Positive, reliable approach and good organisation.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen.
• Support food preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Help with deliveries, storage and stock organisation.
• Work closely with the Chef and kitchen team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
