Job summary

St Philip's Care in the UK is seeking a Domestic & Laundry Assistant for Ravendale Hall Care Centre. The role is 30 hours per week, supporting the housekeeping team to maintain clean, welcoming environments for residents.

You will report to the Care Home Manager and must have a flexible approach, high standards, and the ability to prioritise tasks. Desirable experience in care settings; full training provided and induction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home for residents.
  • Clean and care for residents' rooms; manage communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dining and seating areas.
  • Support day-to-day running of a busy care establishment.
  • Report accidents, hazards and unsafe equipment to management.

Domestic & Laundry Assistant at Ravendale Hall Care Centre

30 hours per week.

As a part of the house keeping team you are a valued and respected part of the team. We are looking for an individual who has high attention to detail, high standards and pride in their work.

You are responsible for maintaining high standards or cleanliness throughout the home for our residents, cleaning and caring for our residents rooms and ensuring they are homely and tidy.

You are responsible for communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dinning area and seating areas.

Our Care Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Laundry Assistant to assist in the day to day running of a busy and vibrant care establishment.

You will be reporting to the Care Home Manager,

Candidates Should Have:
  • A flexible approach to work
  • High standards and good work ethic
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Be able to use resources economically and effectively
  • Beware of correct cleaning solutions and equipment for correct job
  • Be aware of the responsibility to report any accidents, untoward incidents, hazards and unsafe equipment
  • An awareness of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace.
As a Domestic and Laundry Assistant it would be desirable to have:
  • Previous experience of care work in a Hospital or Care Home.
  • An interest for Care of the Elderly
