Job summary

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Kinesiologist for the Viewpoint North York clinic in North York, ON. This permanent full-time role offers an annual salary in the $60,000 to $65,000 range and a collaborative team of clinicians dedicated to high standards of care.

Responsibilities include conducting biomechanical, fitness and functional assessments, designing graded exercise programs, and coordinating return-to-work plans with clients and employers.

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario.
• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program.
• 1–5 years of work experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart
