Job summary

CBI Health’s Moose Jaw clinic is seeking a full-time Kinesiologist to join an interdisciplinary team and deliver exercise therapy to help clients recover and return to work and daily activities. You will design and implement therapeutic programs, perform employer assessments, and support discharge planning within a supportive clinical environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, patient rapport, and strong time management, with opportunities for growth within a national healthcare network.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics.
• At least 18 months of experience working as a Kinesiologist.
• Active membership with Kinesiology Association of Saskatchewan (KAS) or eligible.
• Completion of Clinical Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CPE) certification.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Empathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team and to facilitate our clients’ needs by exceeding their goals.

Responsibilities

• Treat Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), LTD, WCB and private clients in a gym setting.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment and management of the client.
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs.
• Complete employer assessments such as Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET) and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) to confirm job capability of essential job demands.
• Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician.
• Assist the treating clinician with return to work planning.
• Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazards.
