Job summary

The Kinesiologist position at CBI Health Port Coquitlam, BC focuses on the Customized Recovery Return to Work Program, offering one-on-one and group exercise prescriptions, disability management, and functional assessments within a multidisciplinary rehab setting.

You will work with clients across orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and cognitive/mood-related needs, designing therapeutic exercise plans and performing job-site visits to support safe, effective return-to-work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Be responsible for one-on-one and group kinesiology exercise prescription.
• Provide disability management coordination.
• Complete functional assessments and associated reports.
• Work with a client profile from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, to cognitive and/or mood related.
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet identified client needs.
• Perform job site visits and design return to work plans.

Kinesiologist - CBI Health Port Coquitlam, BC

Located in the heart of the Fraser Valley, CBI Health Abbotsford is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic committed to helping clients get back to the activities, work and life they love. Our experienced team brings together Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Occupational Therapists and mental health professionals, creating a collaborative environment where clinicians can learn from one another and provide truly client-centred care.

*The Kinesiologist will work in the Customized Recovery Return to Work Program, which will include Job Site Visits and in clinic rehab work *.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

• You are a graduate of a recognized School of Kinesiology
• You are a registered member in good standing with the BCAK
• Experience within Return to Work and Job Site Visits as well as Chronic Pain clients
• You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
