Job summary

Lifemark Physiotherapy Saint John is seeking a Kinesiologist to join our busy team. This permanent full-time role is based in Saint John, NB, Canada, with a Monday–Friday schedule and ASAP start. You will perform ergonomic assessments, work conditioning, and graded exercise programs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a University Kinesiology program.
• 2+ years of experience considered an asset.
• Ability to perform ergonomic assessment, POET’s, work hardening, and FCE’s.

Responsibilities

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments in collaboration with other registered clinicians.
• Design, implement, and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts.
• Work with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
• Conduct education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients.
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
• Ensure return to work plans are documented with client and employer.

The successful candidate will posses the ability to perform ergonomic assessment, POET’s, work hardening, facilitating FCE’s and training opportunities available . This position will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians, as well as provide exposure to complex occupational rehab cases.

Your Day-to-Day:
