Job summary

KidStrong is seeking energetic coaches in Sherwood Park, Alberta to lead classes for children aged 15 months through 11 years. You will engage with families, explain our curriculum, and deliver science-based fitness games that build confidence and character.

Ideal candidates are coachable, committed, and able to work weekday evenings and weekend shifts. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $24.00 CAD per hour, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age.
• Experience talking to and educating parents on our curriculum.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter that just gets a job done.

Responsibilities

• Lead KidStrong classes for ages 15 months to 11 years.

Open Role

• We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 15mo-11 years old or pediatric OT/PT experience.
• Our classes run on weekdays 4 - 7:45 pm
• On weekends we run from 8-1 and 1-5 pm
