Job summary

Value Buds Waterloo is seeking a motivated Keyholder to join our cannabis retail team. You’ll lead by example, assist customers, manage shifts, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, recommending products, operating POS, stocking shelves, verifying IDs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior retail experience and cannabis certification are required; 18+ age; ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

About The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Keyholder to join our team. As a Keyholder, you’ll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, taking ownership during their shifts, and supporting both customers and teammates in a fast-paced setting.
